2) 'Insignificant' is an extremely subjective term. Use it more cautiously. I don't consider Arctic's health as a whole, insignificant. Most people seem bend on ruining it.

As for the mud losing players, yes, that's true. But I could just as easily claim its because people aren't listening to me, or because you once experimented sexually with a sheep, or some other bogus cause, it doesn't make it true. Learn to differentiate causation from correlation. Maybe its because games like EverQuest, etc are taking the newer generation of potential players? Maybe its because some people are growing out of mud? Maybe its because some people don't like the two-clan domination that's currently occurring.

If you were smarter, you'd realize you can't make that judgment solely based on some comments.
As for my 'controversial posts', I may not cause massive directional changes at the flick of a wrist, but even if all I've done is cause people to think about a topic... even defend their points of view so where they have to actually consider why they think they way they do, instead of just accepting everything 'as is', and even if all I do is cause people to subconciously doubt for a moment whether the way they think is actually the right way, then my mission has been a success.
I admit you guys cause me pause with your arguments on a regular basis. Just don't stay stagnent.
Integrating in the playerbase does not require you to random. Integrating into the playerbase means making connections and getting people to respect you and listen to what you say. This doesn't mean you need Huma's or anything like that. Look at people like Suf. Pretty generally respected by the playerbase, but not a randomer. And if you're going to cite him being BSP, that's a fairly recent development.
As for newbie clans being targeted, that's not necessarily true. Under the right leadership, any clan can prosper. Renshai started out as being known as uber newbies. They were never known as super elite, but at least when I was leading them and for a while after I left, they were at least a reasonable force. And none of us randomed, at most we'd protect our own.
You're telling me that killing a randomer does nothing? I'll give corey as an example, the guy you hate. BSP kept hunting him, so he refused to do anything that would jeopardize that. If you have a clan and you take care of randomers, as long as you're diplomatic with other clans, the randomers will definitely be slowed down. Also, a lot of clans will just kill randomers for fun. So I am not really sure what you're talking about. You think Corey cares for a moment that you whine on the board? I think he kills more just so he can hear you bitch.
Finally, as for what's wrong with arctic, everyone has their opinion. In reality, Aristox has done some pretty awesome things, but the days of MUD are somewhat gone. To be honest, starting up another clan that can as least act as a spoiler between the two big clans would be your best bet. There has been tons of randoming since day 1 in arctic, actually, much more than there is now. The shriners used to gank people left and right. So you are definitely barking up the wrong tree.
To be honest with you, I thought people would post comments more related to the log itself, but as long as the comments are somewhat amusing and entertaining overall that's all that motivates me.
In any case, the casual randomer doesn't seem to be much of a threat to anyone quite honestly. They end up dying before they do too much damage. Anyone with a little bit of thought wouldn't fall prey to someone like Huan. All that's needed is a little bit of wariness in checking the wanted board or this page or paying some attention to shouts. Granted when someone shouts 'huan is a randomer' it may not always be true, but if you aren't interested in pk, your safe option is not to group someone like that.
The more dangerous type of randomer is when a skilled player becomes bored. Xellos Tim, or Corey (although it is a stretch to call Corey skilled) are okay examples of this. And to an extreme when an entire clan becomes bored due to lack of normal clan battle pk fun, the innocent bystanders tend to get targeted more often.
I've been BSP or in a clan close enough to BSP since the end of the wipe before last. I took a hiatus from BSP for the end of last wipe when I was neutral (with Wild's blessing) or simply not playing due to overwhelming work.
BSP is definitely at its worst when half of its members quit/take a break and has no regular leadership. At times like those, it's near impossible for someone to get removed from an enemy highlight list. Circumstances now are quite different. I've said before and I will say it again, staying out of the crossfire of clans is as simple as establishing a legitimate identity for you and your characters. Most clans, be it BSP, Wilds, Dark Moons, or Garbages, really have little interest in hunting some little shit character that isn't one of their enemies. You have to be able to prove it to some extent, since it's an obvious favored tactic of any unknown clan character to claim to be a "neutral."
Uther tells you 'i am a squire to kos, plz dont kill me again sir' is only the most recent and amusing example.
The best way to deal with randomers is to kill them.
