     The small street known as Forest Lane cuts north and south through the
city, twisting enough to avoid the looming mountains to the east that
neighbor the city.  Like the rest of the city, this street is chaotic and
dirty. Every once-in-a-while, a Lemish citizen will stop and glare at you,
his eyes filled with hatred.  As you travel down south, the street rises
gently, sloping over the small hill that the city was built on.

    Correction to log descrep: no DM attacked a renshai, we warned before we attacked a randomer (virtue) who was formed with renshai.

    2 second warnings do not count. Good manner is prior warning long enough for Renshai to say Virtue if you are attacked by these ppl we will not assist you in anyway.

    Darkmoons do not believe themselves to be smaller than Renshai. They actually have tried to display their power to us demanding items back from us and then not returning items they pop of ours. Maldrik shrugging after we said to give warning and saying he didn't think he should have to is a perfect example of their attitude towards us. I personally have no interest in a DarkMoon war, but a lot of people on both sides want to. And you gotta keep the peoples happy. DarkMoon's casters are a mirror image of ours. So that won't be much of a factor. It will be a good war.

    As I understand it, Darkmoons attacked first, how does that equate to Renshai picking on anyone? Renshai probably overreacted to the situation and could be construed as 'picking', but Darkmoons still attacked another clans group to begin with.

    If you guys are such weaklings you should not have attacked such a 'stronger' clans group without knowing what the repercussions would be. While it can be twisted into them 'picking' on you, their action was not wholly unjustified.

    I wasn't leading. I had about as much notice to what was happening with Virtue as you did. Seconds before we move into your room, leader says bash virtue, and I say sure, thats the guy who attacked a dm yesterday. If the circumstances were different, yea it would have been better to mention Virtue to renshai. Everything happened a bit too fast for warnings and reasonings and whathaveyou.

    obviously im on neither side of this, but as i understand it dm attacked virtue. if virtue retaliated i think it was a just cause. in addition i think it was an attack on a guy who has been darkmoon forlike half a day.... i dont know. more logs though, fun fun

    The nice thing about clan wars in Arctic is if you loose you win and if you win you loose. Plus it dosn't hurt to have a clan full of squeaky wheels like in DM that are gonna cry and whine about injustice and point fingers at everyone but themselves. I just feel bad for renshai because all everyone is gonna hear about is how much they suck and blah blah blah. I just hope that the leaders of Renshai won't lower themselves to DM's lvl of trash talk and fingerpointing. Just let the fights speak for themselves.

    Brandon is right about one thing, I did promise I would not just jump Darkmoons. But I don't really consider this a jump, immediately after the Virtue incident we logged bashers and waited to fill out group for battle. Maldrik's response to the situation is what prompted half the group to want to fight. Simply shrugging and saying he shouldn't have to ask us before attacking our group, even if the person is not renshai is just not acceptable. No clan would tolerate that. Maldrik's response was simply the last straw to a series of offenses made by both sides. I tried tirelessly to keep both sides out of war, but it seems both sides were pushing for it. However, I stand by my clan. I'll see Dark Moons on the battlefield.

    I was leading renshai group when DM's decided to attack Virtue at toll. One second before they came in I got warning from Trun not to assist, what a nice one second warning. Next time have some respect for other peoples groups. Maldrik's response however was the ultimate facter of this log.

    I think its funny how people seem so surprised and shocked when a clan like renshai jumps a clan like dark moon. Both clans are of about the same caliber and they probably do about the same zones. When clans start popping decent eq, its only a matter of time before a war breaks out. Renshai doesn't need a noble and just reason to attack dark moon. I don't even see why dark moon would be all that upset. Don't whine, just accept that war has come and prepare to battle.

    i dont see the problem in only giving a couple seconds warning about DM going to attack virtue.. if they gave to much warning you could of told him that a DM group is after him and he could of recalled.. and then they would of missed their target..
    i have been in groups before where i only got the entry spam warning not to assist and the group was smart enough not to..
    it was just an excuse by renshai to war, but then i also dont know the background history
