Man I was online when this happened and Parn told to me.

Parn was going to deadbeat so he said "anyone want my equip" in a room FULL OF ROTS. NO ONE answered him so he gave it to Charo who did answer him. Sure he should have waited.

But killing someone like this is totally scummy! If I had more people on, I woulda killed you guys at the time!

I agree. I joined group bc none of my DM were on, and was afk at this time for 15 on the phone. When I got back Parn was gone, didn't know why until someone told me I was in a log. And anyway, if RoT is disbanded like you all say, who cares who he gives the gear to.

When the only option is to dt yourself (which seems to be the case with me.) I choose it, and I dont care if people get butt-hurt about what I CHOOSE to do. Pan joined RoT so he could level himself in relative peace without having to worry about getting attacked by pkillers. He never really cared about RoT, he likes to take, but the word giving does not appear in his dictionary. On multiple times he refused to help people in the clan because 'he didnt feel like it'. When RoT ended up in a war he suddenly realized his days of xping in peace were over and he decided to bail. The correct way to leave was to first inform me or fang about leaving and then offering the eq that the clan popped for him to other people. But instead of doing so he just decided to quickly dump his eq on Charo without telling anyone that he is leaving. He is a coward and a traitor who abused the clan for his personal gains. He also knew we were actively hunting him, so he got exactly what he deserved.

RoT skips the step of learning the game before joining a clan. If you have a hard time titling a character, you probably shouldn't be in a clan. It also takes away the fun of being a newbie and discovering how the game works for yourself. But if Fang likes to herd newbies like cattle, it's his funeral.

Its true that the 'open door policy' attracts lots of trash (out of 100 people that applied to RoT there were like 30 spies from other clans). But on the other side...out of those 100 applicants we found like 8 newbies with potential. They are slowly approaching highlevel and with proper guidance they can be very skilled players one day, making it all worth it.
