I did not even used my powerful lightning bolt spell - not even once - in hopes that you would stop on your own. But you showed character and now that you are complaining about dying 3 whole times (!!!) you show even more.
Come off it, talking about two different things. Abusing a broke flag system to repeat kill someone is one thing. Running back to scene of pk sight is another thing and getting mass whacked is another, regardless of whether attacking or not. Doing it ten times or whatever is foolishness on your part. Bad form to whack someone like that, I agree...but to claim it's the same as abusing flags is just stupid. I don't care who you are and what was done to you. Of course, you know this, so you might as well quit pretending it is the same.
The only reason I am not claiming that it was known bug manipulation is the fact that I think only 3 or 4 people(if that) in BST smart enough to even test stuff in thier clan beyond a surface look. The bug I am refering to is hex type effects giving residual flags to people no matter who attacked who. Probably works with legend punch as well, but I never tested that.
Anyhow, doesn't matter since flag abuse is stupid (and probably illegal in terms of the game)...just like returning to site of where you were pked is stupid if you do it immediately(which is allowed but frowned upon).

I think all you randoming jerks fall in line behind this counter. Complain if you must but accept the fact everyone breaks the rules in one form or another. There IS NO perfect system. I remember back when all you needed was 1 flaged member and rescuing tanks to spread flags in peace.
Funny since most of PZC are ranked...you don't get ranked without pk being only a facet of what you do. We zone, hang out and chat, etc etc...basicly you have to pk to enjoy all the facets of this game.
As for randoming...I joined PZC for two reasons
1. To learn about the pk system in a real world enviorment.
2. To help out Sona and Willie to kill BSTs.
That isn't randoming. BSTs have given me some headaches this wipe with repeat silliness from trash talking, terrorist behavior, ninja looting, and basicly just being all around asses. This isn't all BST mind you...but enough of them to make it worth my while. Enough of VA members didn't want war or haven't had to deal with BST nonsense like me or other VA chieftains have this wipe.
If examples are wanted here are a few:
Lee basicly threatening war for gear we loaded by ourselves and one of the first zones we learned this wipe...Spider mace...we didn't even really want it for the most part but the fact members from BST were harrassing VAs while we were finding out if it was even something worthwhile to keep. Pretty lame to treat a clan who at the time was filled with half new/returning people like that.
Or Moonglum looting and not splitting and when told to in a VA group he recalls out like a complete bitch.
Or Miagi trash talking VA members to me like he had a decision in who stays or goes.

I about left VA right then to go with Sona and Willie to kill BSTs just for that...but I had a responsibility to the clan at the time...still grates at me Sona and Willie had to leave by clan vote on that. Granted, BST had a legitamate gripe, and I wouldn't have been upset if they came and fought instead of boring me to death with vague threats and childish outbursts. Though Ao did have a real point, it was a real sin in my eyes to have kicked them rather than defending them from a clan that had already shown animosity towards us. It was a clan decision by the clan and the chieftain at the time and Sona was willing even before to leave the clan at the time to avoid BST stupidity.
Point is...not randoming from my standpoint. And we don't just pk...wouldn't be regeared or past halfway to rank 33 if that was the case.
My other point still is, don't abuse the system just because you can...As I have stated, there are known bugs that we could have used right away...but we didn't, not because we are weak...it is because it's ignorant to do.
Granted this comes off a whining as well...but really it's a statement of purpose.
As for BST's "quality": Nate and I, and a few others in our clan, basically went to bat for VA even after Sona and Willie made multiple PK attempts against our guys that they then tried to explain away as trigger failure and finally succeeded in killing one of us. One of the traditional top tier clans probably would have killed everyone with a VA tag till it got out of fashion. Instead, we asked them to boot Sona and Willie, and give back any gear that Sona/Willie may have given them from PK. I told the people in VA that if they didn't boot Sona/Willie from the clan, we still wouldn't deliberately go after the rest of them but we wouldn't spare them either if they tried to protect them or we ambushed them while they were zoning together.
The fact that you're trying to spin the Sona/Willie situation into an example of "BST are assholes" just shows the weakness of your position. Of course, I could be wrong. From your posts on the board and your newbie friendliness, I thought you were a decent guy, like most people I've zoned with in VA. Your last few posts are making me believe I was wrong about that.
If anyone in VA (or anyone else on the mud) feels that I've been unfair to you, feel free to tell me personally what I did wrong, because it wasn't knowing or intentional. I play Learned. And don't worry, I'm not the sort who goes and PKs an entire clan because someone hurt my feeling over tell.
Also, you are right that Nostramazos was a different situation (in terms of what is/is not "abuse" of the system), however, his point is that killing someone in the inn, who has been repeatedly harassing you may be unsporting, but bragging about repeatedly killing a level 10 mage who's just trying to play with the Test isn't really that far away on the unsporting scale.
p.s. geting eq from your alts or jumping solo chars. Using that char mainly for pk. Most of the time iron long swords etc. are not worth the risk of losing higher tier eqs.
Notice that I don't say all individual BSTs. BST as a clan I don't care for.
As for the situation about Sona and Willie. I am using that as one example of why BST has given me headaches all wipe long. The decision was made by the clan chieftain and I abided by it...having the random BSTs during that spew garbage at leaders in the clan trying to find out why BSTs are still threating VAs after the Leaders of both clans supposedly sorted crap...that is something that gives me a headache. You being attacked by Sona and Willie was due to the fact that after the clan leaders supposedly sorted that you had errant BSTs telling VA members that it wasn't sorted out and they were gunning for Sona and Willie...in my position I would have done the same. Anyhow, that isn't spin...and is just one example. Basicly, I have no issue with you even now.
Believe what you want about me, I generally am a decent guy until people start getting on my nerves. Nate is a prime example of someone who gets on my nerves and has repeatedly. Being in BST you know this, Nate might be one of the great players in this game both in knowledge and sneakiness, but he whines consistantly when things don't go his way to the point of stupidity. When you have a clan who conistantly have harassed various VAs in the dark this wipe it gets to be annoying...especially since Chris and me were working to help out new people or returning people who hadn't played for a few wipes on a large scale..basicly at one point them making up close to half of active members in the clan.
Like I said though, this has been the majority of the clan showing a clan basic philosophy that whether or not you personally accept, it is the group think. You having been in BST should know that I am right.
Granted, this whole little rant of airing out dirty laundry is a bit retarded on my part...but some things need to be said for others to understand that BST as a clan has been irritating to VA. It's been the only clan this wipe to have done that. Once or twice randomly over the wipe is one thing, something that was systematic throughout the wipe is completely different.
That being said, BST has of and on has also done "nice" things for VA, but those few things for individuals doesn't make up for the Clan based mentality versus VA.

I'm sorry, but I completely disagree with you. As you point out, I AM in BST. I helped found the clan. I am in a better position than you to know what our "clan philosophy" is. Which is why I know that you are completely wrong.
You seem to think that "helping new/returning" players gives you some sort of moral high ground. That once again proves you know nothing about BST. We started with a handful of former Wilds/BSPs and people from other zoning clans, but we also have a lot of people who have never been in a clan before. You point out that you stopped grouping non-clannies because you didn't want to "deal with headaches." When I (or Nate, or Mike) lead zones and we have space, we let unclanned players (especially less experienced ones) zone with us, even if people are killing us, even though on a couple of occassions someone turned out to be an enemy unknown (who would invariably gloat about how he "tricked" us into helping him spell/rank up.) And we'll still let anyone who isn't actively try to kill us zone with us. The one exception, after the spider mace incident you pointed out, is that Nate is a lot more cautious about spamming/talking about decays when non-clannies are in the group. (By the way, I wasn't there for that, but other people have a slightly different interpretation of how that conversation went down. Since you were able to go back and copy/past a conversation with Crazy Chris from many months ago, perhaps you can also find the original tells from Nate over that mace so that everyone else can interpret for themselves who was being diplomatic and who was telling the other clan to fuck off?)
You are also completely wrong on (or deliberately misrepresenting) the Sona/Willie situation. We were not "attacked" because the situation "wasn't sorted out," the entire situation was that Sona/Willie attacked us, several times, without provocation. If CrazyChris and Rich (the guy they killed) were threatening VA because two of your members killed one of ours, how can you then claim that was the provocation for the aforementioned killing? A few weeks before the situation, they had threatened to kill me while I was leveling some alt in some zone (ran deeper in and locked them out at that point, more threats).
However this is what I know about you. You, a few days before 9-11, call us "terrorists." You speak of "group think," but if anyone has a skewed view of reality, it would be someone that would compare anything my clan does to the most despicable attack on our country (EDIT: sorry, I was ethnocentrically assuming you were American, when you could well be European, Aussie, Asian, or even from a country that cheered for the other guys on 9-11) who has an overly skewed view of reality. (and as someone who has friends and relatives who are NYC paramedics, you can guess where I want you to stuff it over that comment.)

I wish I could convince you of that. But if you sincerely believe that 3 of our guys (including the guy who was killed) trash talking VA members after two of them killed a BST without provocation is irrefutable evidence that the "majority" of our clan are "terrorists" and "assholes" then clearly your mind is made up and no amount of evidence or reason can change your mind (though kudos for being willing to concede that I am "one of the good ones."). Much like 9-11 is proof that most Muslims have a group philosophy of terrorism, though there are a few good ones, right?
As for everyone else, they can see our actions for themselves, and they can see your posts, which speak more to your character than to ours.

By the way, I have no idea what you're trying to convey with this sentence. To address the point I THINK you're trying to make, your entire "evidence" of our "clan mentality," is that 1) Nate asked for a decay back and talks a lot 2) our clanmates (I'm guessing specifically Mike, Jon, Crazy) were trash talking VA members after VA killed one of us (probably venting because they were annoyed over being ordered not to kill innocent VA), and 3)... actually, there is no three, is there? You point out that Sona/Willie was only an example, but when I pointed out the shortcomings of that example, you didnt bring up any more, did you?
So if Nate talking too much and less than a handful of our members talking trash because they werent allowed to retaliate over a slain clanny is such a transgression as to overshadow all the goodwill from our other dozen or so members helping VAs run the DK quest (I think I helped 2-3 personally), zoning with them, helping them repop decays, being actual friends with them (or in one case, family), then clearly being a decent guy to the rest of the mud, and asking the rest of BST to keep doing the same, will never change your mind about us. But I'm not going to stop, and I'm going to tell the rest of BST not to stop either. Because that's who we are. And God help any new Arctic clans or minority groups who have one or two of their members "get on RaVan's nerves," lest they be judged for eternity.
Just in ending to this little drama that I started.
I acknowledge the fact that BST has done specific things for VA. No more or less than almost every other major clan, or VA helping out the same with the various other clans. What I said stands though, as a clan you all have given me a headache. I don't "judge someone for eternity" anyhow...just til it wipes. My point is, BST various actions over the wipe made this an easy decision on who to try learn the various PK mechanics of this game in a real world situation. Your claim of me not bringing up more examples after the Willie and Sona issue isn't because of lack of them. Anyhow, this has turned into a excercise in ridiculousness more than anything. Boiled down our arguement is:
You: Only a few of the members of BST have done anything untoward...the rest is super to the rest of the mud, especially VA.
Me: There are a few BSTs I can talk to without wanting to whack them for various percieved sins, thus when I decided to pk...I chose BST as a target.
I doubt either of us will convince the other of our views. Even though, as stated before you stand as one of the few BSTs I don't mind at all.
But since, from your last posts, you seem to consider talking as/more offensive than going into a zone and killing someone who was running it without provocation, perhaps trying to understand your position by talking to you is just counterproductive on my part.

I have had a chance to zone/get to know a few BSTs, and I didn't have much use for any but a few...my choice really and other people can disagree, I don't care. I don't place the blame on BST for wanting to whack Sona and Willie at the time. I would have felt they were more than justified in thier actions. The truth of the matter is that when Beast clan was put together, the personalities in it manifested many of the main principles of the Maza Nostra clan. These principles can be surmised by the words, orgy, poo, melted cheese, furry wabbit, turtle head and kerfuffle.
Now it is not the fault of other clans (with the exception of Kos) that they have none of these characteristics. We understand that each of you have inadequacies that stem from childhood and personal life (ie. Kadaj never having been held by Nate). However, accepting your consequent inferiority is a necessary prerequisite to a life of enlightenment.
To be sure all these years the Beast clan is developing a unique style but still has more learn from Maza Nostra. We are taking in new people, who although have potential, they need to be taught and prodded. Currently, we are trying to teach some of our members that looking faggophobic and arsenholen in boards and posts is like dying 1000 times to a spoon wielding midgety maniac. A defeat that is unacceptable in Maza Nostra terms.
The said individuals have been dted already (although they still think it was an accident) and will be dealt harderly if they repeat their offense (comparative and adverb at the same time, eat that lawyer!).

I used to play back in the day, so when I rejoined this wipe - I kept to my self soloing. I grouped every now and again, but that was it. One time I was grouped with PZC (not reading elay or I wouldn't have) and BST rolled in and killed them all. I wound up getting killed in the process. Not only did BST not target me, but they reached out to me to apologize that I was killed because of PZC's nonsense. Unprompted.
Then a few days later on another character, on more than one occasion I was killed completely at random by PZC or they attempted to. 2 different non affiliated multis. So there I stood.. A clan that kills at random, and a clan that apologized and went out of their way to make it right by me, when they didn't know me or have to. I made it a point to join BST after that.
