Weep bears a special shield, stats are 27str/28dex/24con, NV/True_sight/Imm_disarm, wears about 4x as much +dam as Cujo, lots of -saves vs magic and resist magic (admittedly, -saves against Cujo's gaze are lacking as they are somewhat rare...)

Cujo wears 3-4 damrolls, a few +str/+dex, decent prim and average 3d5 offhand

Lol... These were the last 2 of about 6-7. One I learn hes nodrain(no leech) and no disarm, all I have left is thrust/gaze!

Not shown here are the fights before where he owned me. Also im like 4x bashmod, so he might have had better success punching/kicking every round(You can kick 2x each round hasted) Also not shown is some hobble effect? and failing to swing/hit him, failing to stand and falling back down, standing and getting woozy effect, and from my p.o.v, never being able to tell whos who and wtf im fighting or whos talking!(disorient effect)

My analysis: Warrior should never beat DK. 20dam Humas warrior should probably beat DK=) which he did. In fact im surprised that offensive stance worked better than defensive against him. The real problem and only reason I won any fights is because of low saves this wipe. Can't wait to see nightmare in action.

Well, I have not got alot of time to play this wipe, but it seems DK's are very powerful. Maybe that is an overstatement or understatement. Any thoughts?

Yes, I did fail to clarify that we had about 6/7 duels. I think it was split about 50-50, and I did only post the final the two, where I lost rather badly (I actually linked this log to the forums, where I did clarify these facts).

Would I, being immune_drain (negating Drain) and immune_blind (negating a legendary Skill), not compensate somewhat for you wearing a single bash_mod item? I shudder to think what would have happened had I not been immune_blind...

The first 4/5 duels were rather close, excluding one where I suppose you got rather unlucky and all my "skills" were very successfully applied.

I agree that DK's, for the most part, should always beat a Warrior.

However, I think you'd find that, even with 4x the gear, if I wasn't wearing a particular shield, I would lose >90% to you. Letting you stand would surely guarantee a loss, as you would use your dragon to sit me/impair me/thrust me/gaze me. Also, note that your "average" Warrior is not immune blind/drain/NV.

Again, I think it's rather "acceptable" that Warriors lose to most classes 1v1, however, I heard rumors you fought/beat Wahr, a similarly geared Warrior, without leaving v. good :)

I should also comment, I did not see you casting Dark Blessing.

Well its a balance issue... like rock paper scissors... If a legendary dk couldn't beat a legendary warrior, then who could? Warriors beat casters, melee dps beats warrior, casters beat melee dps. That probably a simplified version of this but its probably the correct way for it to be if you want actual game balance.

Its worth noting that beyond a gaze landing, a dks advantage is nullified by recall/flee. A dk may be able to win the fight but lacks the ability to consistently keep you there. A basher can keep you floored. Kinda same as thieves in you will die to a thief if you stay and fight, but a thief can't realistically solo someone who is alert, even if in a vaccuum they could win the fight.

I love dueling most warriors, because they fail a bash, I thrust, they fail bash, I impair, and if gaze lands they are toast. Impair didn't work well on you, you were able to stand up fast and i started to scrap it for more gazing!=) Saves are incredibly low this wipe... thats the real problem.

Think it just shows how retardedly overpowered dk's atm, its totally out of hand.
Destroying zones with their tanking ability, while doing megabuff damage when they want. Not talking about their other skills, gaze, dragon, whatever...
Void beast is hitting a dk for barely/bruise without any prep? c'mon...

I hope they get nerfed asap.

dks already got nerfed! they are no longer power house tanks like before. and to say an unprepped dk only in defense stance was getting hit with barely hards or hards is just dumb and over exagerated. even a regular tank with steel and globbe took more damage than that. put your nerf stick away. or fight for a better cause like getting boring ass clerics a damn revamp. whiner

And Ive done irda trio on a 3man before with barb tank and a sky scout. So what does that mean? I don't understand why there is yelling about unbalanced stuff so much. Game was mega balanced last wipe but people barely played. It's a game and it's damn fun when stuff changing! not like warriors are no use anymore and clerics ain't having 300dmg spells are bad

I'm not sure I see any problems here - a character's worth isn't determined in 1v1 duels...

Generally warriors are better in PK/groups than dks. 1v1 is just one facet of the class
