Crazy Clan vs VA

Logged on to Sylvice saying he had flags on VA, not soon after they failed summons on me, giving me flags. The rest is history.

The Halls of Vague Ambition
    The Clan vault is certainly impressive. Row upon row of neatly arranged
armour, weapons, necklaces, rings, and any other item that might be
potentially useful in further clan adventures. There are no traces of dust.
Every single item has been repaired and cleaned until it shines. In the
middle of the room stands a large desk. A large tome lays open on the desk.
A closer look at the tome displays several columns of figures, dates, item
descriptions and value. A huge hulk of a man sits at the desk, twirling his
moustache. He glances up from entering figures in the tome and beckons you to
take a seat opposite him. You can't help but feel a little nervous before the
quartermaster. He doesn't look like the kind of person who hands out equipment
for frivolous adventures.
You notice some bloody footprints on the ground.
A faint blue aura radiates from the walls.

    Vibrant red flames have been ignited from the small sconces lit on the
sides of the sturdy oak walls in this region of the stronghold. The flames
are not the result of a standard fire, but instead a strange chemical,
possibly the product of the Deep Mine pyromancer's guild. This hall seems

    Ya pretty sad, that my shop offie, and my nytes dagger STILL got the job done.
  5. RaVaN · 5 Sep 2010
    Let me say this, I am not a skilled pker. Anyone who has pked with or against me knows this. I do however enjoy it greatly, and don't care horribly about winning or losing. The only real way to learn HOW to win at pk is to actually do it. Very amatuerish as you can can tell, but is all about learning the pk system and having a good time. Which is what you are seeing. The untried unskilled, going against those that are. Hopefully the outcome will be that we get better at it...but if not, as long as people are having a good time...who cares?

    @Steve87
    Yeah it is a sad way to die, but fleeing wasn't really an option. I know I could have run and would have probably got away, but that is pretty much a bitch move in my eyes since I know Strauss was flagged same as me. Only real outcome from this was me to sit tight and hope Kratos could keep up with the regens once I ran out...and expect a death....and possibly two.

    @runluv
    Wasn't innhiding at all, but rather Kratos getting summoned and me deciding that if Kratos got summoned he would recall, so best idea was to recall get the band back together and head out to try our luck. Speed was on CRZY's side and they swooped in very swiftly. Bad tactics, and a refusal on my part to allow a clannie to be all alone in his trials. Bad from a tactic point of view, but good from a loyalty view.

    @keepitreal

    YAWwwnnnnnn....

    @Crazy

    Nod, was fun nonetheless...learned a bit, still have alot to learn about things though...can't wait to make another go at it...if it hasn't happened since I have logged.

    Basicly this was just a snapshot of us just having some fun after me getting randomly attacked by Maltov. With all snapshots, doesn't show everything that that was going on at the time. Basicly, I don't particularly care about winning or losing...is all just fun to me. That is my view and not necessarily the view of everyone in VA. Pk is good for the mud and needs to be more of it, way too many whining about it of late that really just need to sit back and just play the game as it should in my opinion.

    Ravan, you've got an excellent attitude about this stuff, man. Just keep at it and stuff will start to fall into place. Sometimes the hardest thing is learning to ignore the 'Hatre' s that run their mouths but you seem to have that down already.

    Good on ya, mate.

    I had alot of fun, and I am maltov btw Ravan. I attacked you today, just joking around (I had no hope of killing your legendary shaman ass with a poorly geared basher.) But now knowing that your very new to things like that, I guess your clans decision to hunt and actually initate a war, was well warrented in your eyes. As my clan is about 3-5 people total, I think this will be a intresting war. GAME ON!

    The fact that you constantly use something I did almost 9 years ago, as the basis for anything. Is disgusting. Your a shit player, you always have been. Noone can stand being in a clan with you because of your constant negative bullshit. Your a dredge on society, and you constantly remind everyone why we ignore you, and enjoy every fucking moment you arent playing arctic.

    Well Ravan might be unskilled at PK. But I'm not:) So it will be a fun war. Hopefully we can get those 5 people you got against 5 of ours. And lets hope that I'm around when this happens. Because I havn't really been around to much for the last week.

    Game on indeed.

    Ravan - Wasn't trying to point fingers at you for being a bad player, was just a funny way to go out really. You always learn a lot faster with experience, and if you learned something from this than you have gained something. If those were your options however why not go out with a bang and try to fight em off? Anyways like i said above, always good to see new logs!

    Nod, as the log states, alot more went on and this was basicly a snapshot. Had burned most of my offensive/and defensive abilities early on. I also didn't want to people to spread out and die individually for a tactical error on my part since it was apparent VERY quickly we were outmatched in knowledge and skill. Am more than willing to lose my shinies than risk losing three peoples by compounding errors. So I spent the time trying various things to see what worked and didn't. Most of which the majority of people who have done this a time or two know already. Believe you me, when they rolled in and started in on me there was a whole lot of giggling going on of "wow, I have just been had." Nothing left to do at that point except go through the motions since check mate was in x amount of tics....but basicly I knew what you were getting at in what you posted, and this is why you got a response instead of a yawn...what you said is pretty accurate and I imagine if I was more skilled I would have had a bigger thwack to myself than I did for falling into a trap such as this...so yeah big learning experience.

    it's good to get these new players involved in PK, hopefully it sparks their long term interest

    Ravan - I hear ya, there is almost always more to the logs than what gets posted, sometimes it's relevant and other times it's not. I can't knock going back to help a clannie, and cool to see someone on the dying end of things to be positive. You'll be collecting your own corpses in no time! Good luck, just keep the logs coming!
