    No, the problem is that no clans are willing stage actual pk battles anymore.
    Almost all AC mudders these days just love their gear too much.
    These tourney logs (and sometimes even just conversation logs) are a poor excuses for even the weakest 3v3 battle with real stakes and real deaths.
    It used to be that you had to -earn- the opportunity to have others view your submitted logs.
    You gotta be kidding if you are calling that "whining".

Some have seen it 1st hand. There is obviously nothing anyone can do about it for some reason, so I am indifferent. I am just goofing off until my clan starts back up again, on wipe or whatever.     Just a note -

    If you really want to make clan PK fun again, you'll remove caster nobashes, lim dams, and other overpowering items from the game (cheat mass recall items).

    Also, get rid of stupid keywords. Having to figure out that it's "yank" instead of "lift" isn't intelligence, it's just silly thesaurus grunt work.

    The best battles I've ever fought have been those as 2nd tier clans against other 2nd tier clans, or even allying against 1st tier clans.

    Wild used to do that against the shriners when they were crappy black dragons or whatever.

    When there's gear out there that is insanely overpowering, clans will make the smart play and avoid risking it.

    What is the problem with a clan avoiding war with another clan? If they think they can't win against a "tier 1" clan, then they shouldn't be attempting it. If they want to risk the inherent loss though, then that's a choice they make. Over-powered items don't contribute to "tier 2" clans being miserable. If two different fighters who are in a different weight class fight, then you would say it was an unfair fight; thus, stay in your weight class. Two clans with over-powered items & spells are in the same weight class, and those items & spells aren't necessarily over-powered anymore, because both sides have access to them. If you take away the over-powered items, then the next tier down has just become the new over-powered tier that some players can't reach and will probably complain about. You can't let that process degrade the game.
