    do people look forward to pwipes because they act as a clean slate? or is it the reason that after the wipe occurs, players deem it more worthy to play the mud... ie they are not "wasting" time on a character that will be deleted within the foreseeable future?

    i can definitely see why reed or some of his counterparts want a wipe - when your friends are few and far between the mud is a lot less fun in general.

    but for the rest of the crowd, this is the perfect time to get out there and have fun! right now zones are full of gear, spells loads are plentiful, and there are many zones that have yet to be explored.

    plus, who wants to rush a wipe! there are going to be cool things next wipe that will be worth the wait.

    If you want to get a head start running it just to get the 15-20 noloads out of the way you can group with Brandon for a couple of hours.

    I don't really get it either. Maybe for Weenor/BSP/Outlaw, the fighting gets tiresome when everyone has 10 stunners, and I definitely see why wipes are necessary on principle, but I don't see why everyone else can't enjoy the game late in the wipe. Rent decay, annoying as it is, makes it a bit easier to get those must have items even if you haven't had it since the wipe started, and if you get bored with your spelled rank 20 whatever, there's nothing stopping you from giving away your gear and trying another class.

    Although it seems like forever. And seeing as how fucking up mages with "robes" is the deciding factor to when it wipes. Itll be a 2 year long wipe basicly. All hail stagnicity. <------ toatly spelled that and few others wrong.

    The reason I want a wipe is because I really enjoy the energy of those around me when we are all starting fresh and are trying to rush just to get titled. It's about the fun of actually working on a char and having it MEAN something for the clan, or even just in general.

    Who gets all tingly over the 20th mage in the clan getting titled or getting locate? Who gives a damn if you manage to hit silvi without losing half the group to a bad spin in the forest?

    Plus, the wipe is always more fun when people don't have 10 lvl 30 alts that they can just screw around on and not even care if they die. Pking is also more thrilling when you know death ACTUALLY means something, and that semi-decent eq you just looted was probably the best gear they had in the entire mud (instead of having 4 full sets in rent on another char).
