These are people who have actually become friends outside of this text based game. Where the few letters before your title dont make a difference on who you do/dont talk to. Its a group that regularly even meet up to interact without computers present (OMG! yes really!!!)

I'm not running away from anyone. I detagged because realistically outlaw have almost zero active players at the moment and it meant I couldnt zone with other people. Even your clannies were asking me to detag, so they wouldnt be obliged to hunt me. I even spoke with Nis about it before I asked for peace to make sure he would have no probs with it.
When Arctic's servers are one day unplugged permanently, I'll head over to Summerparty in Denmark or Kimmo's Cabin with the Finns or vist Claus and his family in Luxembourg while you sit at home looking at .txt files of a time long gone.

Its a game, try not to get mad when someone pisses you off. Try not to hate your enemy with a passion. Its a game, for alot of people not having an enemy makes the game boring.
I am BSP/MAEL, i have been since shortly after the BSP/Otlw split. I dont hate Otlw, in fact there are alot of cool people in Otlw (Andreas where art thou?) Its a competition to see whos better and quicker. Its a battle of wills. But above all its a GAME and battling Otlw is FUN.
You know people confuse the addictiveness of arctic to be due to the equipment, spells and general ass kicking - but arctic is addictive mainly because people take it seriously and the interaction that results from it. To prove my point, just read all the posts above this :)
Do people spend hours at a time playing them? Yes. Arctic is a game, people play it to have fun. What someone is looking for on Arctic depends on the person, some like exploring, some like the personal relationships, some like the equipment and spells but in the end its a game just like monopoly only more immersive.
