Before the South Gates of Vingaard
Vingaard's immense iron gates stand directly to the north, where they
present a significant obstacle to any attacking force, but currently they
have been raised high to allow passage of people and horses. High stone
walls run east and west from here, extending quite a ways before turning
beyond your vision. A road heads south where it quickly turns and heads
west, passing the toll station as it travels through fields of grain, and a
cobblestone avenue heads north through the gates.

The Tollhouse
This small stone building stands at the junction of the roads from
Palanthas to the west, Kalaman to the east, and Solanthus to the south. A
road leads north to the gates of the City of Vingaard, and east to the main
keep atop the hill. Inside the tollhouse there are some long benches for
those waiting to meet with the tax collector, who sits behind the large
table toward the back. Behind this table is a large safe mounted in the
wall, storing the collected taxes waiting to be added to the city's
coffers. A small staircase leads up to a small hatch in the ceiling.
Travelers wishing to pass must pay the toll, then head west to Palanthas,
north through the city and east to Kalaman, or south toward the Newsea.
A cloak lies here in the dust.
A wooden sign on a pole directs travellers to their destinations.

  4. darns · 25 Aug 2005
He just likes to fuck around with his trash chars, while safe in knowledge that his main chars are "protected" in BSP.

    Drale MVP for his side!

I don't see how his main chars can be protected after this. Martino assured us that he wouldn't be assisting Honesty or ANY Ex Inferis in pk matters vs NOWclan.

lol what a joke. yup, cause you ambush our group that's somehow instigation from our side...riiiiiight
  9. darns · 26 Aug 2005
    1) Honesty was targetted by everyone in Nowclan. Honesty is a known enemy of Nowclan.
    2) Mezzanine and Newton entry bashed Nowclan chars.

Hardly that can be called an ambush.
  10. adriano · 26 Aug 2005
actually, that's what you call quick response time. we had 0 clue a group was coming, hence the afk healer for letting honesty rip.

Not to mention I have pastes from your IRC.

Yes corey obviously u were targeted for looting his kill.
Just as obviously they weren't expecting nowclan to mass log 8-9 chars and ambush them.
I'm just curious to know what it was andrew/corey did for martino to inspire such ass licking, is buttsex really that good?
Oh and mavlad as usual is gutless as all hell and can't even defend his clan members.

That's some afk healer I guess. Harmed the round before and the round after Honesty died.

first one i suppose is in bsp irc, and is hardly the equivalent of a PLAN to go out and kill your obese ass, just a statement made in my annoyance. second one, i don't know what that is or which mike actually, but it's probably right after you looted, and again, isn't anything solid, just reactionary. what you expect people to say? that doesn't change a single thing i said. we did NOT know a group was coming or that you even had a group online, so, there's really nothing more to say. it's just hilarious to me that you're playing the victim in this and insinuating we instigated a fight vs a vastly superior group (in comparison to our trashy equipped chars).

    - edit. as for afk healer, i can only assume he was afk and came back at that moment, panicking, instead of healing the fucking char taking huge damage.

    - edit again. as for 'enemies', really? lol...so 2 bsp, some chars you don't know, and an artil you supposedly peaced are your enemies. riiight.
  16. RottenPotato · 26 Aug 2005
Jarrad - More like Sigils are my kill. If an enemy is killing another enemy, does it make it right that your other enemy gets the eq if you can get it yourself?

Also, what "asslicking" are you talking about?
  17. RottenPotato · 26 Aug 2005
Blow me Adriano, I know a lot of people in BSP and every one I have talked to knows full well you're trying to instigate a war with NOWclan at all costs.

  20. adriano · 26 Aug 2005
yeah, cause keeping up the facade of naivete really makes me give a fuck. you know exactly what i'm talking about considering we've had a discussion about this before.

it's as simple as this, you're under the impression that you can do whatever the fuck you want, and can manipulate poor little mavlad into believing your nonsense. whatever happens (in this thread, on irc or otherwise) isn't even my concern anymore, cause i'm pretty disgusted with this soap opera-like shit.

-edit. enjoy waiting for a further response.

-edit. one final thing, actually...if you want to see some logs, here's some shit from when that was going on.

Honesty tells your group 'nowclans peaced'
Mezzanine tells your group 'this is a bsp char'
Honesty tells your group 'damn you're so soft now'

    etc, etc...proving my point.

Re: Corey, how about this for ass licking.
    1) Agreeing to clan 2 of the scummiest backstabbers on the mud.
    2) Watching said scums take eq from the clan (hammer of kharas), repopping and returning it to them
    3) Hearing from his own clan mates how andrew has nowclan multies yet refusing to act
    4) Watching him desert said clan and still refusing to act.
    5) Refusing to assist his own clan members after said scums random them

    Point proved.

Re: Mavlad: I should rephrase, BSP died when outlaws got sick of your shit. The last surviving member is Mitch but unfortunately I haven't even seen him on recently.
So yeah, clan some more fodder so you can zone but you will never be BSP, always just Mavlad Hoard.
  29. Seq · 26 Aug 2005
Excuse me Jarrad, as darns pointed out we were after our enemy Honesty, we targetted ONLY him. That group of clowns AGGROD US, not just Lizev who deserved it but Yaz and then the rest of the group when Lizev died. We were CLEARLY only after Honesty, we simply defended ourselves when they decided to bash us. It's understood that if a clan group comes to kill their enemy and you assist said enemy, you are fair game. Honesty was not peaced and will never be peaced as long as I'm playing, he misunderstood what Adam told him or Adam was mistaken, either way. We did not random BSP, on the contrary that dumbass Adriano decided to fight Sigil and Nowclan on a BSP character despite not being at war with either. If you want to talk about scums, talk about Adriano, we did nothing wrong. BSP and Nowclan are fine with each other as usual, sorry you don't like that.
  30. Jarrad · 26 Aug 2005
ROFL, how stupid do you think people are?

If as you say you were after one target where was the warning, as is common practice, "only targetting honesty, assist and die"

Looks much more like a well executed ambush, taking down leader first, and then moving on to other targets.

Regardless of what u think of adriano, I know for a fact andrew/corey have been searching for an excuse to kill him due to some shit occurring in bsp.
  31. darns · 26 Aug 2005
Seq is correct (but only here, he is almost wrong elsewhere). Adriano have no business killing Sigils, and he is only doing that because he knows he is safe behind the BSP might.

Jarrad: Name me the 2 scummiest person on the mud? I think all those who left BSP to join Nowclan, left with agreement from BSP leaders and there was no bad blood. Heck, we didn't even leave with most eq unreturned. Andrew used to have nowclan multies yeah, but any other clan person would have unknown multies playing either neutrally, or in other clans. Nowclan isn't even at war with anyone back then, and definately friendly to BSP at that stage. So what is the problem?

Also there is still plenty of "surviving" members. Mitch, Suf, Tino, Jerkmark etc. The newer members, I don't know who they are though.

And finally, Yair smells, and Rick is a fake.
  32. Edwai · 26 Aug 2005
We logged with the intention of killing Honesty and anyone who assisted, but considering the situation we did expect the others to assist, because we knew their group was angry about us looting Thumper. You might say we baited them, but it was them that attacked first, and we wouldn't have attacked if they didn't. That's why you can see Tywin in the log saying MEZZANINE ATTACKED ME.
  33. Jarrad · 26 Aug 2005
Re: Darns. There is no problem if a clan member has loyalty to one clan and has unknowns in other. If said person is checking bsp decays and repopping them with the other clan, then yes it becomes a problem.

As to Tino Suf Mark, sure suf and mark are cool, but as to playing arctic? Well maybe I am just in the wrong time zone cause I don't think I saw em on mud in the last month or two. And even tho Tino is technically controlling bsp, same can be said for him, which is funny also, clan leader cheering his team on from the background yet never logging...

Re all the little hints that I am scum for not returning eq.
Maybe you noticed or maybe not, I became disillusioned with martino and mavlad, mainly in regards to treatment of andrew/corey and therefor I consciously chose retaining eq as my personal revenge against them.

I have no personal hatred towards the clan as a whole, and did not wish to harm them, therefor I returned the only item in my possession that would benefit their zoning, ie immune heat.
  34. Wezlar · 26 Aug 2005
Well, I was going to be the one to say "Don't assist" or whatever, but as I was sitting there typing it at my keyboard on the computar machiene the strangest thing happened:

Newton crashes into Yaz in a thundering collision, knocking him to the ground!

Alas I did not have time to warn them against assisting because they were already killing me. Perhaps I should have cast a calm and asked nicely but it didn't seem like a valid option at the time.
  35. darns · 26 Aug 2005
Believe it or not, I am not indirectly refering to you not returning eq. I am just pointing out the so called "scums of the mud", returned eq, and got the blessings from BSP leaders before joining up with Nowclan. Nothing shady and scummy there from what I can see. Don't jduge these people based on what they have done in the past, judge them on what they are going to do in the future.

Aaaaaaaaaaanyhow, both Corey and Andrew are simply fodders in Nowclan. The real overlord of Nowclan is Jim, because he controls Nowbot, and that is truly powerful.

Jarrad said: "Looks much more like a well executed ambush, taking down leader first, and then moving on to other targets."

Are you kidding me? Let me describe the situation. I'm in IRC, minding my own business, when my friends tell me to log on and bash Honesty, who had been just spotted at the tollhouse. I had no idea who else was with Honesty, nor did most of my friends, and I certainly didn't intend on killing anyone else unless they attacked other Nowclan members. If you read the log, after Honesty dies, I'm pretty much bashing whoever is casting on me or bashing Donnie, to keep him standing and healing; no evidence of an organized ambush there. You can't accuse us of ambushing other people in the group; we attacked Honesty, then defended ourselves from those who assisted him.

  47. doobie · 26 Aug 2005
Whoever is whining about us attacking KoS, let me open your eyes: Nowclan declared war on these clans on the BOARD. The following day a group of Myth, KoS and Sigils were after Corey, Adam and Latifa. The FOLLOWING day Myth came to Donnie, asked to work out peace, and peace was worked out - yes, even after Myth actively attacked and hunted Nowclan members. As you can see, no Myth have died. KoS on the other hand have attempted no such offer and try to hunt us. In fact they have killed a few of us, there just haven't been logs posted.

In the past few days Nowclan has encouraged KoS to pursue peace, but they've declined. They claim they find they get attacked a lot by random groups of people and need to learn to fight back. I think that's a pretty legit reason.

This all comes down to the fact that KoS, had they taken the path Myth did, would have gotten peace long ago if they bothered to ask. As you can probably tell, Nowclan is very strict about their highlights. If you're gonna start babbling about Jedah now, well today I had a chat with him while giving him +4damage and a 3d7 1dam prim, among other +con/+dex items. He said he did indeed group Sigil and has ties to them. He said he planned to keep hunting us. I let him keep the gear anyway.

Sirs, Nowclan is the epitome of sass. Ne'er forget the celestial purity intrinsic to my words and the deepest sin and condemnation ignoring them would cause.

Yar. Apparently KoS is peaced. Nevermind.
  48. doobie · 26 Aug 2005
Jarrad, sir, as Martino knew, I did have a char titled Nowclan (Tywin), but he also understood that I never played that char nor grouped with the clan. Martino is a kind, benevolent, and great leader and one of the first things he pointed out to me was that I would do more harm than good to Nowclan by grouping them - which I already knew and was the entire reason I didn't zone with them on unknowns while I was BSP. Yes, I was titled Nowclan, but even gods make mistakes (the Greek ones anyway).

I returned all of my own gear to BSP upon leaving, sir. I do not think it valid to accuse me of taking gear from the clan. This was one of the main reasons Outlaws were hesitant with me - I refused to buy anything with BSP equipment. I also never attempted to provoke Adriano into an argument - I told him I've never met someone as cowardly as him and to kindly never, ever, ever speak to me again. Unbeknownst to me, I guess he thought he was my girlfriend and was so hurt he decided to go around babbling behind my back about things that never happened.

This isn't really your business, but the reason I am not in BSP is I had a very different feeling about recruiting contrary to other leaders. I felt the best solution, since I felt strongly, was for me to dissapear, especially since I'm not very active anyway.

God, I hate making these posts. Let's just be honest about why you're angry. I killed your mage 4 or 5 times and you didn't kill me. Now it's time to discredit me using other means. Get in line, sir.

i've refrained from posting on this board for a long while now but i think nows the time i should. Both Nowclan and Random people need to shut the hell up and stop trying to justify this shit. I know a lot of people in nowclan and even less of random people, but what i do know is that corey looted a corpse assholeishly even if justified. It's in his inherint nature to do stupid things but i still like the guy. If nowclan really expected this 8 man of random ass people to take that kind of stupid shit, honesty who is, and the rest of which not were evil, then they are naive but i know they aren't because i know the people. Random people should stop denying that they were there to fight, why else did i log my healer in the first place, because we were gonna fight nowclan, yes i knew about it. Regardless of whether random people all targeted just Lizev (which they didn't), and Nowclan just targeted Honesty (which they did), Corey would have still died and ran his ass back in and bashed another person in the room, followed by a mass assist by Nowclan, this wasnt a simple targeting of mike, it was destined to be a fight from the start regardless of who targeted who and what. So just let this post settle the dispute on who is ass and who is not, the answer is noone, it was just a fight that was bound to happen. As for me being a part of it, well i'd wish i would have made it a better fight, but i had other things on my mind (not that i need to explain, because the nowclans that know me, know that i dont suck that bad to just harm like a madman), but i was caught off guard and just casted the first thing that came to mind, so really dan i wasn't afk but my mind was absent, it wasn't panic it was just a lack of effort and concentration. Anyway, that's all i got to say for now.

    please excuse my dyslexia

  52. doobie · 27 Aug 2005
Ah yes, I do recall that. Jarrad (you) started whining after I didn't give you an unlimited +damage item after you (the only other tank) neglected to try to rescue the main tank at all during a few RIP's in a zone. I found the absolute carelessness you brought to the group and total neglect for your clanmates welfare, exemplified by the way you didn't try a single rescue when you had many chances, disgusting. In turn, I gave the +dam to the guy willing to tank the zone who died twice, possibly because of you. You're right Jarrad, that was a really horrible thing for me to do as a leader and this reason for discrediting me you quoted is SO much less petty.

Aha, the funniest part about it all is Adriano was whining to me in private for the first 3 weeks of the wipe to not give you gear. He kept saying you'd just deep rent it. Looooook Jarrad, I have no interest in arguing with you, but if you keep posting dumb crap on this forums I'll have to continue enlightening everyone. I don't know if you think I forgot about that incident, and maybe you're on drugs right now and it's fucked up your memory, but don't kid yourself - you just explained that you whined over -unlimited- +damage after continually contributing to screwing up a zone. Ask around a bit, you'll probably discover zone leaders are much more inclined to split gear to people who pay attention in zones and not to people who think they have a right to equipment. It's ok though, I'm sure the masses have realized anyone who accuses me of something is dead wrong, but it's fun to point it out anyway.
  53. mavlad · 27 Aug 2005
