    Rurh being his usual ignorant self. You think the imms werent aware of the possibilities of darkness before dks were implemented? This isnt even some secret trick. Corey and co. invested a lot of time levelling dks and popping nv items so they could use this strategy. Just becuase its effective you cry for it to be nerfed. Pathetic. It is easily countered, its not abuse, its totally legal.....AND ITS SMART. But in the end, its easily countered.

    First of all, creating something doesn't mean you automatically know of all possibilities in existance.

    Secondly, being smart enough to figure something out doesn't mean that it's perfectly okay. Anything can be taken too far.

    Thirdly, yes if you know how to counter it, but most people would struggle with it, unless every contigancy was planned ahead (And there are a lot of possibilities for attacks).

    We (Sigil) have been attacked using this tactic by Corey and Adam and have successfully prevented it many times. KOS is just stupid.

    Dont bitch, Corey's tactics are good and he killed two kos fair and square. #1 they shouldn't have been 2 manning with 3 evils on. #2 darkness didn't matter since khoran was bashed and killed in like 2 rounds. But good will prevail! and spiderman will get caught in his own web.

    don't worry about rurh, he whines every time someone is successfully killed. the comment sections of suf's webpage are his pillows and he uses them daily. corey and posse like to own people and they are good at it, rurh dislikes when anyone excels at any aspect of the game. he can't handle when people actually use a skill or spell to its full capability, and because all the morons of arctic haven't tried it before it is 'unbalanced'. in his mind only a 10 man should be able to kill 1 char.

    I love how cause newbie Rurh has never seen anyone use darkness in pk before now that it is being used its instantly abuse. Hate to tell you this newbie but darkness has been around for a very long time now and has been used many many times for this purpose. Just because your a newbie and werent around doesnt mean anyone is abusing anything. When are you going to shut your cake hole? No one wants to hear your bullshit dribble. And lets not mention paladins have a spell available to instantly dispel all darkness in a room.

Further more, in an game that creates a 'life-like' world why should we punish the players that think outside the box? Nerf this Nerf that what a bunch of crap! It's the dumb-down attitude of "I didn't think of that so it's unfair!" or "I didn't plan for that so it's unfair!" that makes me wonder how in the world mankind ever found the wheel. Thankfully, there are a few people around that have figured out how to think, plan, and utilize every tool at hand to better themselves in spite of the insepid nay-sayers like Rurh.

    Also, in order for the original nerf to have taken place, the upper-ups needed to consider it too powerful. I'm pretty sure that Noryl said it's generally considered overpowered, but I can't think of the instance.

    Who said anything about punishing? Discovering a tactic that's "too succecssful" is a punishment on the victims. It's called balance to maintain it otherwise.

    Yes, there are people who look for legal loopholes and other tactics in life to get ahead. They're usually the ones who spur law-creation to patch things up. But I wouldn't regard them with respect.
