Neat, you've come to terms with the truth finally!
  10. mavlad · 10 May 2005
at least we don't kill KoS to get to pk fun when unable to eliminate our enemy
  11. Malth · 10 May 2005
No, you just pk anything that isn't BSP out of fear that it could be an unknown enemy, and that would somehow pose a threat to your stupidly large clan. ;)
  12. Loretta · 10 May 2005
As summary just Blaah was deleted. Also its hard to lead RGB becouse its not exists. About KoS... they like to group bsp and try to fightback for some reason - so they was eliminated every time when they fightback.
  13. jnick · 10 May 2005
RGB who??? Garbage what?? We just hired mercenaries from the powers to be, to strike bsp whenever possible:)
  14. deoph · 11 May 2005
*Yawn* Boring log.. Thief stabs, flees, stabs, flees... so leet to play the only class you can totally bot pk with.
  15. briakalin · 11 May 2005
Ha HA I would have to agree with Deoph cause anyone can pk someone with a thief ( BESIDES ME).
  16. kamij · 11 May 2005
I think you guys are over simplyfiying things. You can bot kill with a mage, you can bot kill with a basher, you can bot kill with a druid, you can bot kill with a cleric. If your a good enough programmer, you could bot kill with any class. It is easy to kill stupid people with a thief, it's not easy to kill good players with a thief. If your target has any common sense and knows it can't win/doesn't want to fight, then he has time to recall 9 out of 10 times. You recall from a thief, you usually fine, they don't have the ability to find people fast, no locate/dim/port/relo/track/temp. Thieves just kill quicker then most classes is all.

  17. briakalin · 11 May 2005
Yea but when they catch u off guard a thief is more likely to kill you then any on other char. !!!
  18. Malth · 11 May 2005
How are you going to bot-kill with a basher? They fixed bash so that you can't just 1x one and perm-bash people so unless you're fighting someone with a stand trigger, they'll probably just recall once bashlag wears.
  19. briakalin · 11 May 2005
Exactly what i was thinking just didnt now exactly how to word it.
  20. Derek11 · 11 May 2005
Well as I programmer I can assure you it is possible. But if you want to know here it goes. First thing to consider is how you want it to operate, basically you're just going to program it as you would think. If you wanted to bash flee, scan, go back, bash, flee etc to increase % to bash you could go that route. You could try to ground bash, you could trigger to bash standing people as well. Or you could do any combination of the above if you so desired. It would require some long annoying logic but it is possible. I'm not saying it would kill everyone you attacked, but then again, typing manually doesn't do that either.
  21. Rurh · 11 May 2005
-Bash should no longer be easier to land on a sitting opponent not in
    combat.

    Enjoy,

I think what Derek meant to say was a very advanced deterministic finite state machine with multiple levels of input (ie, time/keyboard) for priorities. But you knew that because you are Comp Sci right? ;)
  23. Derek11 · 11 May 2005
No I'm pretty sure that if that is what I had meant that is what I would have said. If you would spend half as much time in the sun as you do coming up with asshole comments you might not be a fucking albino.

3 dark age, 1 bsp you mean.......
  27. briakalin · 11 May 2005
OMFG i new everyone would argue over that comment. Thats so funny lol
  28. deoph · 12 May 2005
Uh Yeah. There is much more finesse to pk with other classes. The hold wears, the target stands, the para landed etc. etc. With a thief it is literally stab, fade or flee, scan, envenom (in either order), rinse, repeat (maybe a stand if you get bashed). That is easily scripted. (a five year old could do it)

Now as for Caster pk. At the very least you have to have some complex scripting. One that included landed spells, immunities, charmies if you have them etc etc.

Tank pk? Heh it's hard enough when your paying attention. Get real.

Just because you can't do it doesn't make it impossible.
  31. Rorc · 12 May 2005
Well, being completly script controlled is likely to get you deleted.

However, I have seen several people with very comprehensive PK scripts that cover most aspects of a battle and they tend to do quite well.
  32. Derek11 · 12 May 2005
I'm pretty sure you can have scripts that do everything for you, but you better be sitting there at the keyboard if you get called on it. My understanding is botting (when the actual player isn't there) is what is illegal, not using the scripts.
