    Always funny to see this log. It's what i call the beginning of the end of wilds. That attack was a response for Wilds running to a zone and stomping a lesser clan by aggroing 2 clannies in dko if i remember well. No surprise DM group got stomped a few logs later, bc of wilds superiority at that point, but at least we replied to bigger clan abuses.

    Any new word on what's up with the mud? Word is that Rutgers website and stuff is up. If that's the case then it doesn't seem to be a server issue, unless they run off of a backup server and we just don't get that luxory. Someone also suggested that they thought Aristox was out of town for a while too and maybe he was the only one who could reboot the game.

    Maybe the port got blocked by somthing? It would explain why you can ping mud.arctic.org, but not login maybe.

    Odds are it's a problem that can be fixed in 5min by someone who is physically at the machine.

    I'm just ready for a pwipe because I haven't played regularly since I deleted my healer months ago. Mostly just log on and horse around or chat with friends. Pwipe would give me some motivation to play again.

    I've never understood why people delete their characters. Someone tell me why you would spend all that time lvling something up and training skills, and then just throw it away? You could at least use it to pop books or explore with at the least.

    The machine the mud runs on is broke right now and will need to be fixed by someone with physical machine access, ala Scrappinak. Rutgers is closed right now for the Christmas break so we are not sure when Scrappy can kick the machine. Worst case scenario is mid next week. Sorry.

    Hrmm. I don't know why I delete characters, I go on a mass delete rampage at least once a wipe, this wipe it was just harder to recover from, for various reasons.

    lol Mike, thanks for the encouragement, heh.

    Actually I've mended a lot of lose ends I made in the past, some may remain unreparable forever, unfortunately I tend to to piss two people off for everyone one I make up with.

    The only reason I never deleted Brafu when I quit major mudding for about 6 months is because my friends kept telling me I was a idiot if I did it. Next time I will have to remember not to tell them and just do it =)

    But really this is just a game and unless your char is really spelled up and ranked then there's no real loss to deleting it.

    Heh, I've had ranked and spelled characters each time I mass deleted, doesn't change anything to me. I mean sure it can be a pain in the ass when you come back but if you play regularly for 2 weeks and set some goals its not hard to rank. Now spelling up can take time...
