Using zone knowledge to weaken and kill your enemies is not illegal, if it was, we would've been force to return the gear. Maybe you should bitch about people who lure enemies to mobs that kill certain alignments, like the log corey showed, it's people using a zone's setup to have an advantage.

The only times the rules are set is when people take shit too far.
You can try to come up with excuses for that log, but when it comes down to it... the ZONE fucked them up, not corey and co. They just happened to be there to take advantage of it.

They knew about it, they knew we were planning on using it, but they let us use it, because using zone features to do regular things(Such as lag, or damage) are part of the game. 2 wipes ago rgb tried to hide in a lag room near kalaman, was that cheating? no, stfu
and breadbombing? being able to give items to someone was not intended to make it so you cannot recall, lag rooms in zones were intended to make people lag.
Renshai fell for a trap and lost, not big, but lost, it was being a good player to get them to fall for it, it was not cheating or cheat.
Oh and Rurh, as minch said, the gods knew corey had been planning to use that room for awhile(renshais were just the ones that it got used on first). Now, I know you refuse to admit when you're wrong, but when several lvl 32-33, and a lvl 24 know about something for awhile and it's not changed, odds are, it's not illegal.
Also, the TNT crate was bugged for awhile, and has since been fixed (supposedly), much like the glowing orb from DKo that people would pop and drop in peacerooms to area those who should otherwise be safe. For someone who thinks so highly of themself, you sure seem to be lacking in common sense. You comepare a Key item like TNT crate, or abuse of game mechanics like bread-bombing to the use of a room which was made to screw people in a certain way? Thank god you'll never be in a position of power on Arctic.
A change some of you might not have been around for was the recall scroll rentcost, which was dropped greatly after massive abuse of people giving dozens of them to idle players inorder to try to deadbeat them(that was the reason Cale gave me for their rent change atleast).
Corey fought and won, sure. Clearly he has broken rules and pushed the limits, that is why he is gone. Not necessarily using Taeldeth or whatever zone features but summoning to no_recall. Clearly it was considered abuse else it wouldn't have been changed.
Corey was very killable. As stated before he cock sucked the big boys who could stomp him, and attacked the weak. Less than honorable.

Rurh is mostly a soloer, and one of the best. His zone knowledge and playing ability is that of at least an above average player. There is not another person on this game who can solo load their own gear and level like he can.
Anyway... what I'm getting at. Let's all act more mature, myself included and flame each other on what is worth flaming. If there is a log with Rurh in it and he does a shitty job, tell him about it. Whatever, but don't post on his playing ability and flame when you don't have a clue.
I'll give credit where credit is due. Corey played the game well. He cared for no one but himself (and adam maybe) and did what he had to to win. He succeeded in many ways, failed in others. The game means many things to different people. Friendships, power, chatting, pass time, pk, zoning blah blah. There is an almost endless list. Corey played the game for him.
I don't care how people play the game, but when it comes to the point that their fun is ruining the fun for others I think it is a problem. So while Corey succeeded and did well in many ways, he failed in others, imo.

Bread is part of the game.. so was the dynamite, and the globe. That didn't stop a mechanic of the game from being abused, and stopped. The lag room is a mechanic of the game. It was abused. But hey, you know, items rot, so rotting buttons shouldn't be a problem either, right? It's all part of the game.
The pattern has been, they overlook things until people take it too far. They used that room once, so no action taken. Corey and Adam used that norecall room as un unfair advantage repeatedly until it was nerfed.

When the creators of a zone make a lag room, their first thought isn't about how to make an ambush there.

Rurh, you have no clue whatsoever about the room corey used in our trap, nor do you have even a shred of an idea of the knowledge of his plan gods had. If it was illegal, do you honestly think that we wouldn't have been punished in some way when both us and several gods knew about the room? Anywyas corey sums it up nicely for you. they knew we were going to use it, and planned to change it AFTER we did.

Bottomline: TNT crate was made as a key to open a zone, not pk saferooms, people who used as such were dealt with. A flying damage room such as the one we used was used as such, to deal damage to a flying group, we were just aware of it and used it to defeat a larger force much like people use lag rooms to pk. I don't expect someone with a pk view/history like yours to understand why the two things are entirely different, but perhaps you should learn to accept things like that. Besides, if you can't tell the difference between using a group's lack of zone knowledge to kill them, compared to using a zone-item to attack a room that is not ment to be attacked in such a way, you have no hope, and I can't imagine someone with such a narrow train of thought can be successful in the real world. Don't worry, we all know the real reason you think that fight was won by 'cheating' is because your clan was too stupid to think of using zones to your advantage during your clan's ass-beating.

Adam I didn't cocksuck my way, but what I did do was wrong. I did kill Corey once during the war, maybe even twice I don't remember but the point is we were outclassed and outmatched. You had more players and more experienced players. Most of my clan was first wipers. You had Andrew, Corey, Yourself, Mike, Fang, Brandon, and Bob to name a few. Parn: Like we did with the fly room, people avoid TNT frags by storing their eq safely before using it, and enter lag rooms and then jump their lagged enemies while they themselves are lag-free.
Lag rooms are ment to lag people, and others use it to their advantage in fights. That room was made to damage and move fliers, and we used that to our advantage in the same way. If the gods thought that using that room was as bad as using the crate in a peaceroom, then why weren't we punished when they knew we planned to use the room? I'll give you a hint, it's the same reason people aren't punished for waiting in lag rooms and ambushing people there.

For those of you who don't know what Rutgers is, it's a state college in New Jersey, the asscrack of America.
On a more serious note, most universities do heavy maintenace over x-mas, easter, and other times when the schools are closed, so odds are that's why Arctic is down. something probably got disconnected and requires Aristox to manually be there to re-run the server. MUME had a problem like this a few months back when the place it's hosted at was being rennovated.
Or maybe Aristox wanted everyone to have a life during the holiday season. ;)
